By continuing to extend our offerings, Sitemasher provides a powerful way for you to build, manage, and optimize your websites.
Here's a snapshot of where we are going and where we've been :
- Januar 2009 – For the first two months of 2009 we are going to focus on application speed and the UI interface for website builders. We have conducted several focus groups and intend on using that information to improve application usability. We will be exposing libraries, import functionality, member areas, email response and further form functionality by mid April. Sitemashers value is in the ability for website builders to add features that would normally require programming and we are intent on continueing to provide further functionality to our customers each quarter. You will see data services integration launched later this spring that will open our products sandbox with no limitations. - September 2008 – In an effort to move towards our available for purchase (AFP) date, we are working very hard to move all Sitemasher features (website building environment, content management solution, analytics, and search engine optimization) from demonstration mode to a fully usable and stable format by mid September 2008.
- August 2008 – We overhauled our content management functionality to include the ability to make changes directly on the page in Dashboard, and improved submissions and approvals for site editors. As part of this launch, we also incorporated the first version of our Sitemasher Site Network feature, which gives users the ability to create parent and child sites, and to share components across them. Other additions included our new visual style sheet editor, features to make it easier to use the list system as a blog, and many other enhancements.
- July 2008 release – This release presented our first step towards providing extensibility within the Sitemasher product. This included the ability to use standard HTML and JavaScript code widgets to make it easy for developers to incorporate customized applications into Sitemasher. Our July release also contained further updates to our visual CSS editor, menu creation, and analytics.
- June 2008 release – We released our first complete version of the Sitemasher content management platform, which allowed you to import mockups, templates, and HTML designs into Sitemasher, or to build a website from a blank canvas. We also enabled a new CSS editor and a navigation-menu toolset, along with the ability to create extensive forms and capture data with our built-in SQL database. Many other features emerged in this release, including search engine optimization (SEO), simple analytics, role-based security, and the ability to publish websites to a URL of your choice.
